Self-proclaimed as the ‘journey that begins on bare skin’, Les Parfums Louis Vuitton, marks the French luxury brand’s first foray into fragrance since the 1950’s.
Inspired by far flung destinations the perfume has been four years in the making, following the appointment of head perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud back in 2012. After working on Stella by Stella McCartney, Lancome’s Peome and L’Eau d’Issey, Cavallier-Belletrud set his sights on restoring Les Fontaines Parfumées, Vuitton’s new perfumery in Grasse.
While the bottle design is being kept firmly under wraps – the brand promises to offer an ‘exotic’, ‘rare’ and ‘floral’ scent and is arguably the most anticipated autumn beauty launch.
Les Parfums Louis Vuitton will be available in September 2016.
