As part of August’s Camden Fringe programme (running from 1 – 28 August). Emma Packer (@Packemania) will present her gut-wrenching play CTRL+ALT+DELETE at the Camden People’s Theatre.
Focusing on issues such as domestic abuse, and its subsequent reflection on our society; as well as immigration, financial crisis and the war on terrorism – this highly relevant play tackles the issues of today with gusto and poignancy.
Centering on Amy Jones from Brixton, the play sees the politically charged protagonist challenge the injustices of societal conditioning; questioning war, the fact that equality isn’t a universal entity, and that your enemies may be closer than you think.
This tough, emotionally charged production puts contemporary demons into the spotlight and makes audiences think twice about their privileges and preconceptions.
8 – 16 August, Camden People’s Theatre, tickets are £7.50.
